Beautiful flowers! You have so many more flowers in bloom than we do here. May 14, 2016 at 11:12 pm Reply
My mother used to grow lily-of-the-valley, is that’s what the second picture shows. I just learned that the plant is poisonous. May 16, 2016 at 10:34 pm Reply
We are warned every year to take care not to pick the leaves by mistake when foraging for wild garlic (Alium ursinum) as they apparently look similar to a novice. They are usually a little later to emerge in our area though. May 17, 2016 at 6:52 am Reply
I wonder if my mother knew that these plants are poisonous. I doubt it. Being interested in language, I couldn’t help noticing the two possible meanings of “they apparently look similar to a novice”: 1) A novice finds them similar-looking. 2) The resemble a novice. May 17, 2016 at 1:13 pm
My mum still has them in the garden and I wonder if she knew. I agree about the two possible meanings. I guess we understand from the context. May 17, 2016 at 1:18 pm
That double meaning also crossed my mind as I wrote it, but I knew you would know which one I meant! 😉 May 18, 2016 at 9:05 pm
Beautiful blossoms, and a clever progression of colours.
Thank you.

I reckon Spring is in a full swing down here.
Pure excellence! Have a wonderful Sunday 🙂
Happy you like it.
Gorgeous selection!
Thank you.

Those were spotted growing in the cemetery, might have been planted then.

Just as you knew that in 2) I meant “They” rather than “The”.
Toxic and beautiful, that’s a combo!
So very lovely, I can feel the Spring in your images.
Thank you, I love seeing new flowers opening up.
Lovely pictures! You have the same Geraniums as I do here.
One of my favourite geraniums.
These are lovely. I have many of them in our own garden. 🙂
