Weekend flowers

I have been digging in my photos from the last few weeks to find some summer flowers. I have not been able to go out this week as I broke my foot on Tuesday. Luckily the cast came off yesterday and I am now wearing an air walker boot but still on crutches. So for now photography outings are on hold…centyyarrflowerflgladpinkwhfullzinniapdahliapinkzinnialiatriscard1erynglark

  1. Oh, so sorry to hear you broke your foot! It was 3 years ago this week that I broke mine. 😦

I hope you have a speedy and pain free recovery.

The flowers are beautiful, and are very cheerful. I love the color of the gladiola.

      1. It’s fine now. It aches a little when I’m sick, but I hear that’s normal.

I couldn’t drive as I broke my right foot and drove a 5 speed stick then. Now have both a 5 speed and an automatic transmission cars. 🙂

I had to wear a cast for 6 weeks. Hopefully you won’t have to be in a cast that long.

Want to see my X-Ray? I posted it on flickr.

Did you take a photo of your x-ray?

      2. Sorry, I can’t think why the link won’t work for you. It works for me.

I dare say Dr.’s are probably used to patients snapping quick photos of their x-rays by now. Mine didn’t bat an eyelash. 🙂

Maybe you can get a quick picture when you go for follow up x-rays.

  2. So sorry to hear about your foot. I broke a bone in my right foot a few years ago–I know how much it hurts! Wishing you a speedy recovery.

lovely flowers which show just a hint of the change in the seasons. Hope you will be up on both feet again soon x

  4. They are lovely! And you’ve managed the bright colours without them burning out.
I especially like the red one that looks a bit like a Gladiolus.
Hope your foot gets better soon!
    All the best 🙂
